Welcome to my little corner of the Internet, recently I have been obsessed with cacti and terrariums, and I mean obsessed. I have crushed over so many terrariums and all things cacti, however some just seem way over priced. I wanted to create some thing of my own that also didn't break the bank and that's exactly what I did. I have been researching for week and looking at all different places to buy some, I think I have found a hidden gem.

I bought my vase and cacti at Ikea, they have some amazing glass vases and cute cacti, which are all really affordable. I got the ensidig vase to pot my terrarium as I thought it was a lovely shape and a great size and only £2.50! Then I also got cactaceae set of 3 potted cacti which are literally so cute, they are just the perfect size to fit two in my glass vase. The final thing I bought to complete my little terrarium was some kulört which is crushed glass, I have the purple shade however there are loads to choose from.

So onto how I put together my terrarium, I started with a drainage layer of small stones I found in my garden and then added the crushed glass on top to create another layer in my terrarium. On top of this I placed a thick layer of compost to plant my little cacti in ( to be honest this was harder than expected as I may have prickled myself a few time ) but that aside they look very effective. On top I put moss from my garden and more smaller pebbles, then sprayed it with water. I am very content with the way it worked out and the overall look of it, considering it only took 5 mins.

On to my final item which is a cactus shirt from Topshop, which I'm in love with. As soon as I lay eyes on this I new I had to try it on, but I was sceptical how it would look as I don't really own any shirts. But I was wrong it look great on, it's slightly oversize on me which suits me well and pairs well with my Topshop skinny jeans. I feel it's a really good addition to my spring wardrobe.

I am loving anything cactus related and I'm hoping I can add more to my cacti collection
